This species of begonia is native to India. Begonia u545 can reach decent size, and mature plants can easily take on a bushy appearance. As with many Indian begonias, it can be a bit sensitive to heat, though this species does tend to be more resilient than many rex hybrids.
The blooms are fragrant, and, unlike most begonias, actually smell good.
