Philodendron ornatum is an easy going aroid native to Ecuador.
This species shows a great deal of variation between mature and immature leaves. While young plants produce smallish, tear drop shaped leaves on short petioles, mature plants form much larger, almost heart shaped leaves. Adult leaves hang at the ends of long, thin petioles that are covered in a mosaic of tiny, white dots. New leaves are an attractive coppery gold color, fading to green.
